Bill Curd is a Houston, Texas artist whose blend of Modern Country, Southern Rock and Classic Style Rock has enabled him to carve his own niche into the Texas Music Scene. However, suddenly not only Texas, because in December of this year Curd will receive the award for Best Country Single of The Year from The Nashville Music Awards for his hit song, "Red White and Blue Flag".

"Totally unexpected," he says. "I have put my hopes high, over all the years I have been at this. I've always been happy just to hear people come up to me after a show and tell me they love my music. I haven't been doing it for recognition, it's just something I do, it is a part of me, part of my heart."

Bill lives outside of Houston with his wife of 27 years, Grace, and as he puts it, "we pretty much live a regular type of life."
